This is our Katy We have no idea what she is

We ordered RIR and Blue Wyandotte's but she is in a league all herself. I think in the end we ended up with Buffs and Gold Wyandottes but alas, Katy is the only one we don't know.

Any ideas

Legs are black rest is white, she's still young here, born the last week of July 2014

Very beautiful interesting girl you have there. Can you tell me if she has a pea comb or straight because it looks like she has a pea comb from the pictures...which doesn't make sense if she is an Austrawhite, which is my first guess.

I should also have said, if she does have a pea comb, then my next guess would be EE although the pure white ones are very rare and she does have wattles so that doesn't 100% match up either.

Her comb isn't fully in. I'm stumped until then I guess. I'm trying to look in my albums to see if I have another view, most of my girls combs are not fully in yet.

She looks like a mixed breed to me, not necessarily an AustraWhite. The AustraWhites I've seen all have more black feathers on them, plus a larger comb. Where did you get her from?

Well, I do not see blue Wyandottes on her list. I suspect her Araucanas are really hatchery EEs, which means they are mixed breeds. Breeding those could result in just about anything. That could explain your pullet.
