It's very normal to be that excited about your first eggs! NOT dorky at all. We'll maybe to some people.

When I got my first little eggs I called all the family like it was a birth announcement. That is when they thought I needed help.

What is funny to me is that I had already collected about 30 eggs from the guineas,ducks and other chickens....but these two little eggs were the most exciting. It just shows me that I am getting somewhere with my newest chickens. I had been looking everyday for about two weeks before I found any and kept saying anyday.
