This is what my neighbor said........ About my chickens

So I have this neighbor lady up the road. I stoped by her fence to watch her baby cow being born. She come over to me and we start talking. She has chickens so I tell her oh I have some chickens also. She say Oh do you have any extra eggs cause my hens are old and not laying as much anymore? Of course I have some extra egg I can give BUT THERE BANTAM EGGS SHe SAYS............. Oh never mind why dont you go and get some real chickens!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so blown away are bantams not REAL chickens????? arhhhhhhh That hurt my feelers

LOL!!! She is probably lifetime country and thinks bantys are for playthings. I know I have use 4 silkie eggs instead of 2 "real" ones.

Maybe she has never tasted banty eggs, I find they taste far better than 'real' eggs.

I think your bantams are real chickens. I find it sad when people talk like that. It only makes them look stupid.

A lot of people seem to think that. Or they call bantams 'fancy' chickens. Chickens are chickens, the bantams are just cuter
