this isnt right... its backwards

okay so i hatched 4 roos this year. 1 leghorn rock x
and the other 3 where barred rocks. now
my leghorn X was the last to hatch 3 day or so after the other three and he's the first to crow and have his roo feathers.
i dont understand this.

leghorns are a fast feathering breed. faster than BRs

Leghorn roosters in my experience have always reached sexual maturity faster than heavy or dual purpose roosters. 3 days difference in age is not very significant.

Kay eff cee is about as big as the hen that hatched him so he prob wont get any bigger?
