I went to one poultry auction and i will never go to another one. I was appalled by the condition of the birds. I ended up buying my Australorp because i felt sorry for her. They didn't even bother to put her in a box, they just duct taped her legs together and threw her on the table. The duct tape was stuck to her feathers so bad I had to cut some of them to get it off of her. She was a mess, no feathers on the back of her head, above her tail or on her belly. They'd obviously let the roo over use her.

Anyway, glad to hear you rescued the quail and I hope it does great!
