Do chickens eat stickers, like goat heads? Someone at the feed store told me they do and that would be awesome because my backyard is full of stickers!!!

Mandy, they don't look to be very toxic but there's apparently some concern with cattle and sheep eating them in excessive amounts. Scroll down about half way and read about "drought related" poisoning problems with Tribulus terrestris reported by California Cooperative Extension. There's also some concern about the seeds causing damage but I don't know if that's in poultry either.

Neither West Virginia University nor the Merck Veterinary Manual have this plant on their list as poisonous. So, I doubt if there's much concern. [IMG]
