Silkie #1 again.. Just goes to show how much difference lighting can make!

Here's one of the other chicks.. (feathered legs & shanks; my "cochin" guess) You can really see the bluish/greyish undertones here

And here is that same chick, better face shot, but much brighter lighting.

I'm going to try and do a little research online while I wait to call TSC and the hatchery on Monday but feel free to chime in with any opinions

Oh, now I can really see the puffy beard/muffs on the second chick. That's not a Cochin, it's a D'Uccle. And, yes, your first one is a Silkie

I got a d'Uccle, too. Mine was all white, but it's feathering in to be a golden neck. You say yours has gray? Maybe it's a porcelain?

I did a little research & I'm thinking I have 2 porcelain d'uccles. BTW, how the heck do you pronounce "D'Uccle"?
