So today I was out with the Girls and Everything was so calm and nice. And THEN THIS GRASS CUTTER STARTED CHASING THEM AT FULL SPEED! I have a field behind the yard and the city usually has these grass cutters cut every Monday and they never did anything harmful to the Chickens Until this Freak did today! So I was just sitting down after mowing the lawn when I see,all of a sudden, My dear Hen Myrtle May being chased by the freak I rescued her when I noticed the WAS CHASING MY OTHER THREE HENS. This Guys is definitely new since I recognize the others, I would say something but he looks like he doesn't know English. This Jerk was even on our property line! And the sickest part about it is that he was laughing and looking at me while I was rescuing the poor little Hens. Now they are al hiding and drinking lot of water, which is good. But he had them running for almost 50 yards. now they will not even come up to me.

I would have said MORE than a few choice words to him, especially if he was on my property, whether he knows English or not!

At the very least, call the city and file a complaint and make sure that no good (you fill it in) does not come back. People like that just sicken me.

So this was on public property/land and not your own privately owned property?

Not only would I file a complaint, but I would make sure to have a barrier between properties. I've had to put fences up in all sorts of places because 1. it is my responsibility to keep my pets on our property and 2. to keep them safe from anything outside our boundaries.

Edit: Though this is an unfortunate event, I'm glad your hens are ok. (shaken, but ok)

Yes we are planning on getting a fence on our property so no one else does it again
