For obvious reasons I spent most of my time not to awful
far from my father just now.

I'll have other days.


On the other side, he did feel well enough today to go for
a short car ride. First time he's been off the couch in the
eight days he's been home.

So today was a good day.

I was in your state yesterday (much further north, though...) taking my lovely daughter to a dance competition. Back home now, happy to be with the rest of my family.

That is filmed in my city, unfortunately... my daughter does traditional Irish dance. She place 4th in one of her dances and she was in the top third in all her other dances. She did a great job and we had a lot of fun - that's all that matters...

Congratulations! And you are right, awards are fine, but having fun is what it should be about. The Princess watches that crazy show, and I am like, "Those mothers should be arrested for child abuse - subjecting their children to that woman!"
