This question may seem forward but....

* Is that a click and drag thing with two windows open???

d.k., were you referring to my directions? I can't do a click and drag thing due to the fact that we are on "boondocks dial-up" (26.4K). What I usually do to avoid losing the copy is I keep a wordpad file on my desktop. I copy from photobucket, paste it into my file, then copy and paste it here. It seems like a hassle, but it also keeps all my IMG codes together, should I want to use one again, without having to go over to the photobucket site.

* Ah, I don't have any of those tools on cell, so if I ever get photobucket to stop telling me my user name is no good (It took it the first time and now won't let me back in!), I'll probably have to write the link down and type it in, eh??

On the top of the menu is the uploads link. It will allow you to browse the pics on your computer and upload one. I have dial-up also, so it takes awhile. Eventually it will show the completed upload. Right below it are two kinds of links you can copy and paste to provide a link to your photo. Choose the bottom one. Place your cursor at the beginning of it, compress your left hand button and drag across, the link should then be highlighted in blue. Make sure you highlight clear across the link, or line of characters. Once that is done, right button click and you will see some choices. Choose "copy". Then go to your posts, click on the Img button above the smileys. It will show "
". Place your cursor between these two and right click again. Choose "paste" and the link will show up in between the two Imgs. When you submit, it should show up in your post.

Hope this helps! I couldn't get all of my images from Photobucket to work either, so I just use the image hosting on here. Its quicker and more efficient. Good Luck!

I usually do it with two windows open. You don't need to click and drag though. You need to right click the IMG code with the mouse and select the copy option. Then go to your post here on BYC and right click again. You will then select the paste option. You also need to make sure that the IMG code that you are pasting does not run up next to your words that you have typed. Just use the space bar to separate the words and the code if that happens. I usually paste my IMG code under my words that I typed. You will only see the code until you hit preview or submit. That's when your IMG code will turn into the pictrure! That's it!
