those cornish cross grow too fast for one family to eat unless you process them all the same time and have a big freezer. then they are so big and awkward they got too many injuries

i started buying commercial chicken, it eneded up being a lot less expensive, but cant replace fresh eggs with orange yokes… i guess if i still had acreage i could have a big flock
