this rooster has me stumped

He is very docile yet very colorful and his hatchlings have feather tufts on there heads

He looks mixed, but if you got him and the rest of the chicks or hatching eggs from a hatchery or reputable breeder, then he could be an Icelandic chicken. They come in many colors and are one of the smaller sized chickens. And they frequently have feather tufts on their heads, especially the females.

He's a handsome guy regardless of breed!
 
He looks a lot like my probable Asian black cockerels. Small differences. I’ve heard the Asian black crosses are part Maran?
