This seems like a silly question, but is this a rooster?

Looks like you have A confused hen. Maybe it's A lezbhen hopefully everyone can take A joke

Can I ask what you're looking for that make it look more hen or rooster? Just for my own future reference I know the comb and spurs but that hens can sometimes have those too so just wondering what else sets them apart.

Thanks!

Yeah that's most likley a hen.

Roosters have long pointed hackle and saddle (neck and lower back) feathers while a hens is rounder and less pointy.
Your chicken is missing those.
Comb wattle development is more pronounced on roosters but when it comes to cross breeds it really depends. My leghorn RIR hen had more comb/wattle then my main boy.

That's most likely your dominent hen. When I had an only hen flock my most dominent hen would crow, had larger spurs, even occassionally attempted to mount her lady friends. So ive seen it before too. She laid an egg every day for almost 2 years though.

But wait for her to lay, hens often sing an "egg" song after they lay. So listen for that too.

Good luck. Hopefully you know soon enough enough!
