This sounds so silly but...

The males develop faster than the females, so sometimes the females may get mated before they begin laying. But overall, most likely yes. She will begin soon or is already laying. Somewhere... :idunno :gig

Shes been squatting a ton lately.
She is not laying in our coop so it has to be the woodline. This will be fun on 3 acres🤣
 
Mine wander all around to lay but not, unfortunately, only on our 12.5 acres. We're surrounded by USFS, where they feel sure they are better off laying. :idunno We are currently putting field fence over the existing barbed wire perimeter. If you do any fencing intended to contain your turkeys, be sure not to define the top edge with *anything* at all that could possibly be perceived as roostable. They will figure out a way to balance on it even if it's nothing more than a tarp to break the wind. 🤦‍♀️ 🤣
