This thing is huge!

I just wanted to show off a little...
My leghorn who has been laying for about a month now laid this MASSIVE egg yesterday. So we cracked it open today to find two yolks in it too!
Here is a photo of her giant compared to my rhode island red. And then this other photo is her eggs all leading up this thing.

Hahaha yes! She was extremely vocal for the half hour leading up to it. I had no idea what she fussing about. I realize now she basically having contractions! Lmao

FYI-her egg was a normal sized egg today. Probably fell right out. Amusing though for sure. I should have weighed it! Instead my son was the lucky kid to eat it.

Whew! Not sure you want her doing that on a regular basis. Do you provide oyster shell free-feed at all times? Wonder what @Eggcessive or @aart have to say about this, if it's a sign of a reproductive issue.
