I've been up all night searching all kind of stuff online from fencing to hairless cat hahaha, I wasn't sleepy. Before I knew it the sun was coming up. I went and sat on the deck for a bit. Gravy and the neighborhood roosters were going strong. I looked over at Mo? or ?? Not even phased by the crowing. Him/her/it was pecking the ground with Henrietta and then they both got on the perch and preened themselves. When they got done with that they went back to pecking and scratching. The whole time Gravy is non stop on top of their house.
Hmmmm, what's gonna be 1st? a crow or an egg????

Morining. I know the feeling. It took me more than 6 months to figure out what my buff silkie was. I got him Nov. 2007. He was labeled a roo, but looked just like the hen I got with him. Well his mate died and I let him free range. He never crowed or laid an egg [IMG] . Then I started geting silkie eggs..weird cause my blue silkie was seting eggs. Then a couple of weeks ago he crowed.... Then his comb turn purple( and now he has blue and white earlobes and the are bigger). Turns out my silkie x D'unncle started laying the eggs.
I can't beleive he just now crowing. He must be a year and a half old. [IMG]
