This was unexpected! It's January AND she's still growing in her spring feathers!

There is a local grocery store just across the street that might be interested in selling them, as well. I have to admit, I didn't have a plan for a 32 degrees F January call duck egg laying machine :duc
 
I know it may not hatch, and that's okay. I'm just glad she's healthy, laying healthy eggs that can be fertile. Such a sigh of relief. :wee :th
 
We eat our duck eggs, though no one has laid an egg for months now.....
The weather here is so crazy, it's probably confusing them. I know it's confusing us. It was 62F Tuesday, 31F the next day, and this entire coming week it won't even reach 50F :he
 
So far:
1 non fertile (that was her first one),
4 little peeps
1 detached/ruptured air cell (just bubbles)
1 too soon to tell
... and she's still going! :pop
