This was unexpected! What to do?

Hot water, dish soap, steel scrubber and a bit of baking soda.. let it soak for about 15 mins beforehand with all of what I said. Then scrub.. rinse.. done. :) if the first time doesn't get it all off, repeat. Baking soda is very abrasive and safe.
 
Fill with soapy water and microwave for a few minutes, then scrub. If that doesn’t work, maybe try bar keepers friend?
 
it didn't respond to hot water soak with dishwashing liquid. Tbe texture is extrmely tacky like a glue trap. The dish was in the run in the elements 2 weeks.
Haven't tried soda yet. Will do.
 
elbow grease with soda worked for a lot using paper so could just dispose of it, but remainder was like residue from some package label and sticker adhesives that tend to stubbornly smear as you rub.

Thanks for the suggestions though. I just used alcohol on it with great success.

Now i know how i can make own sticky glue if needed when SHTF
