Coopersville, Cutlerville, or Centerville? Hee hee.

Great storms yesterday! (But then again, I love a good severe thunderstorm...)

columbiaville...near lapeer...under the thumb....we don't even have a stop light, but you can get a ticket for riding your horse through the stop sign!

We've got 72 and 85% humidity! at 7 am!

This is crazy weather for here. We usually only get about two humid and hot weeks in August.

How do the chickens fare in the humidity??

Well, we DO have a great black raspberry crop this year, and blackberries look promising, too. But we've had so much rain and cool weather that our flowering plants are looking sad, I think they think it's fall...if it would just warm up a little more I wouldn't care so much about the rain, I love tstorms, too...and normally I have a policy to never complain about weather, but on a Holiday weekend, it's depressing....Memorial Day weekend was cold and rainy, too. The weather is compromising though...supposed to clear up in time for fireworks tonight, and it did last night, too.

We are cooler than usual at highs in the mid-upper 80's and severe storms every couple days. I've always lived in Kansas and we always have some pretty good storms in nthe spring/summer...but the storms this year are SO frequent and usually dangerous. We've had damage several times already, from 60-80 mph winds, hail, lightening, tornadoes...you name it. Everything around here is flooding too. It was a horrible icy winter and it's been a very volatile spring as far as the weather is concerned.
