This week I heard them honking....

only they aren't geese. Is it normal for chickens to honk? They are 11 weeks old, so they still peep some and they cluck some. But, honking??? And all 4 of them are doing it, even the sex links, so it's not early attempts at crowing....

My RIR honks. She has a very hoarse voice. It started about a week or two ago. I wonder if it's a puberty thing??? I dunno, these are my first chickens.

Mine are about 9-10 weeks and have been honking for a couple days or so.
