This white faced sucka has munched his last turkey egg at my house

I have been finding turkey eggs every morning for 2 weeks with the shells broken on one side. I caught this sucka leaving the pens the other day but he ducked into the storage room of my polebarn and hid before I could get a bead on him. I caught him in a fish dip net yesterday. He was pretty weak and dehydrated from being closed up in the storage room for several days but we managed to get him in a portable cage and haul him several miles away to the conservation area and release him. He went straight from the cage to water. We watched him lap water for more than 5 minutes and he was still drinking when we left. I have lost no turkey eggs since he was closed up in the storage room.

He should of had an encounter with some sweet potatoes and an oven. They never come back after that.

I don't do possums or sweet taters. If that rascal can find his way back from 15 miles across 2 major highways and several major creeks he will go for a ride to the other side of the Mississippi next time.

i just caught a possum today as well in a box trap lurking near my humes pen. He got relocated via .22

LOL my mom found one in her house, when my dad got in there she was yelling "It's a big rat! It was actually a small possum! He carried out by the tail. I don't think any taters were involved!
