Thompson’s Water Seal

Hello! We are currently building a chicken coop for our chickens. They aren’t quite ready to go in the coop yet so we are thinking about spraying the inside of the chicken coop with Thompson’s water seal. I have no clue if it is safe or not, so I wanted to ask this great chicken community!

I would just use an exterior grade primer then an exterior grade latex paint in satin.
