Finally, I now know what has been taking my little ladies, this little buggers, I have had enough from stealing eggs, getting in bags of feed o killing my little ladies. The time has come my friends the time for revenge, I'm going to be using the .22 and the ghillie suit to dispatch of these critters.

You do what ever you want,,, but Just wanted to inform you this. You kill this one,, and another one will move in to take his place. Will the killing ever stop??:idunno
I deal with such in my backyard also. My solution; I have a secure coop. I lock up the coop every night. I remove feed, and WATER every night. I store feed, in metal containers,, no more plastic for me. Note that I did include the water to be removed. This way night time visitors do not make my chicken area, a regular stop. WATER, I just spill out, and place containers upside-down to dry. Chickens get fresh clean water daily this way.
The lil rascal is only trying to eat,,, not do purposeful harm.

Try my approach, and you may have success.

WISHING YOU BEST,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and:welcome

Locks on everything, doors, windows, nesting box, run door. Secure your coop. I agree with @cavemanrich about the plastic containers, use metal with a secure lid for food & treats.

It takes a 3" hole or bigger for a coon to get in. A weasel, possum or fox can get in the same size opening. Having a camera only helps identify whats getting inside but it won't stop the attacks. By the time you review the footage they 're dead. You need to up your level of security by covering all openings and vents with 1/2" hardware cloth. Best wishes!

Hope you are able to rid yourself of the varmints.

Coons are relentless. Even with my coops predator proof, they still try to get in. Gals go ballistic and I've had injured birds. I dispatch every coon I see on my property.
I had some coons ripped our duct work out one winter in a bedroom. One of them got cut and died under the crawl space.Yes they're relentless but thank God my chickens are hard to get so they hunt across the street instead of here.My coop is very close to my house which discourages them .I also have a Basset that goes ballistic anytime a critter come around. He's terrified of bears though.
