Well, we had to stop and get more feed, and guess what- another shipment of TSC chicks. Some are now old enough that we are sure there are two gold and one silver seabright, two d'Uccle porcelains and some Cochins and/or brahmas. Some are a total mystery and some do not fit into the few breeds I do know. Please help me identify a few of them.
The first one was labeled an olive egger, so my daughter got two. Two days later the same chicks were labled as "possible black sex link", but should they have feather 'buds' on their legs? Pics 1,2,3
Second bird. I assumed a bantam Cochin, but it is so very round and has a very plump backside. Pics 4,5,6
Third: little clean legged, pale grey pics 7,8,9
I will work on better pictures of the others before I ask. Off topic: showing off one of our buttercups pets. They are amazingly curious and friendly.
