Thought I bought 4 Buff Orpington hens...

they're about 2 weeks older now and the suspected rooster is a little more developed now. Here are 2 pictures, the front chicken in both of the pictures is the suspected rooster compared to the "normal" one behind him.

I usually look for a combination of comb, wattles, leg size, and posturing especially if you have more than one of the same breed that's the same age. Cockerels usually have thicker legs that are closer together, and they stand more upright than the pullets.
