Thought I had silkies...?

The bird closest to my kiddo. I thought these were silkies, but after looking at the images on the breed page, I'm thinking they're a mix? I have a hen and rooster. They don't look as fluffy as the ones in the other images. Trying to find a better picture in the mean time...

I would say they're hatchery silkies, which aren't as fluffy as good silkies from a breeder. Hatcheries don't really breed for quality, but instead quantity, so the quality of the birds isn't as good as what you would get from a breeder. Still silkies though!

The one in front left looks like a silkie. It might not be as puffy since it might be a lower pet quality vs show quality.

Yes that is a pet quality silkie.

Definitely hatchery quality silkie looking at that last picture, or a mix with a lot of silkie and a little of what ever else was mixed in. Quality silkies have walnut combs, not single combs like your rooster there. My vote would be on hatchery silkie still.

So now that the silkies are out of the way. These others are Leghorns, yes? They were all gifted to us, so not really sure.

The others do look like White Leghorns.
