Thought I'd introduce myself

Hehehe, most of the people who know me just shake their heads and laugh. And I DO share my stupidity on FB as well. Heck, they expect me to!

Of course, now they all want chicken updates too.

Everyone on facebook wants my chicken updates to go away.

They don't share my enthusiasm for chickens and think I'm even stranger for owning them.

Razadia, that is why my "chicken life" stays safely...anonymous on facebook. After 40 years I have learned that most if not all people just kinda look at you weird when you start talking about chickens. Even in the rural parts of Texas that I have lived in. Luckily, anytime I want to talk about chickens I just call up my dad and we talk about it for however long I want to.

My mom refuses to talk about chickens with me and my dad argues with me over who's chickens they are.

I have a few friends that are trying to learn all they can about chickens from me. I plan to start sending them here.

My FB is bland, but my DD has a pic. of a flipped over chick that she rescued from the feed store. She told them she wanted it or else. She's kinda out spoken like that.

Now the chick is fine. Gotta love the DD.

Well for the greater part of my life my dad has been my enabler....haha.....probably started when I was under the age of two and the incubator and cardboard box of chicks got to stay in my room and I would wake up in the middle of the night and look at them

Indeed! I'd be even more encouraged post ALL the pictures I have of my chickens.
