Thanks you guys! The white and brown mare with half a medicine hat ( dont know what else to call it) Is the mother of the black and white stallion ( gelding now) and he is the father of the filly in the first picture. Then the chestnut QH mare is the mother of the first filly as well as 3 other horses on the farm. Basically out of the 9 horses all but 2 are related

5 are rescues from abuse cases and then four were born at the farm.

The AQH mare was used as a brood mare but because she wouldnt produce a palomino she was sold for horse meat - while she was pregnant. But my friends aunt bought her and low and behold - she gave us a palomino filly.

my fav is the one right before the kitten. I love the blue sky, white clouds and the naked tree in the background. The horse's profile is beautiful

Not sure which one is the QH, but if she doesn't carry a cream gene it wouldn't be up to her, it would depend on the stud she was bred to. I'm assuming she's one of the chestnut/sorrels? If so all they had to do is breed her to a cremello. I palomino as much as anyone, but I'm sad that they are that hung up on color (espeically when it would be so easy to get if it's that important).
