Thought it was Black but now thinking Blue...Opinions

I don't know if this helps, but here is a link to a very dark blue chick with lacing. When I first saw your pic it reminded me of this bird. I'm not sure anymore, I keep going back and forth.

Thanks for the link. I remember that post and yes mine does look more like that than anything.
I'll get her out of the pen and hold her and get Hubby to take some better shots and post them later, maybe that will give a better idea.

My vote is dark blue. I've had several hatch from my own birds that dark. If there is no green sheen in the feathers, then I'd say blue. Mrs. AK Bird Brain posted pics of a chick from my flock that is an extremely dark blue with black lacing. They sure can keep you guessing, can't they?

I vote dark blue with lacing and from that angle looks pullet......I have two growing out just like this and two blacks that already have their green sheen coming in...

HE HE HE HE , I do think it's a pullet but a cockerel is welcome too.

I will get hubby to take some pics with me holding it in the sun and post in a bit, just for comparison.

I also have 2 that i got from Ga Hen , One is lighter the other dark, I will post pics of those as well.

Ok, so I took a couple of my for sure Blue pullets and a couple of my possible Blue.

One is lighter, one darker

I think your birds are beauty's and I don't know if they are black or blue BUT I had to say that I love your ring and your avatar ;D
