Thought my dog had chicken for dinner

Came home from a little league game and didn't find a chick. I saw 4 out of 5 and couldn't find the 5th one. Scared to death, I thought my cow dog ate it. Although she was herding them earlier today but maybe she thought, hey it's chicken. To find out, the chicken went to one of the rooms and found a blanket to lay down on and didn't say a peep when we got home, so we had no idea.

Thankfully she's alive and well, just was a little startled and gave my dog lots of love for not eating her.

Thanks ya'll. Just wondered if maybe my dog herded her there. Don't know how she found that room, usually when they get out, they stay in the same area as the brooder.
