Why not just buy a cheaper human cake mix, and then follow the icing instruction's on that expensive package meant for the chicken's there if you were going to do one?

One for people would have a lot of sugar in it, while the one for chickens doesn't have "sugar" on the ingredient list (or any equivalent I could recognize.)

(The lack of sugar does not necessarily make it a healthy choice for chickens-- it's only 5% protein, at least until you add the eggs, and it also calls for plenty of oil.)

But this one must be fine for chickens, because it says so on the package!
