No baths since this morning and that’s poop #2 today. No blood just wet and what looks like tar. Found a spot on here about clostridium perfringens and looked up pics and it looks very similar just 1 small piece. Wondering if I should do antibiotics? I have terramyacin. Or electrolytes? She won’t eat we had to put a couple pieces of egg mixed with wet food in her beak and she seemed to struggle. Won’t stay awake unless we move her or hold her upright. She seems to be skin and bones. I gave dewormer 2 weeks ago she got 1/2cc Panacur for 5 days I didn’t see worms but it was suggested as I had a girls comb go pale and poopy butts. Now no poopy butts and the other girl is doing better getting colorHens can sometimes become sweet and enjoy your company more if they feel bad or are sick. They seem to sense that you are trying to help them.
Does that look like blood in the poop? Does she look fat or overweight to you at all when you handle her or pick her up? If that is blood, it could from eating something sharp that may have nicked something internally. Cancer or fatty liver hemorrhagic disease can also cause bleeding. Since she is pooping, I don’t think she needs any more baths or tums. I would try to make her comfortable and feed her some cooked egg and wet chicken feed.
Edited to add no blood in poo...liquid white and this black gooey stuffNo baths since this morning and that’s poop #2 today. No blood just wet and what looks like tar.
