I'd say pet quality calls but it's really hard to judge from photos.
I believe that Color pattern is grey pied. I luv it! I think it's super cute.
Idk on the east indies

But do you think I could maybe take the approach of selecting the offspring of the babies I’m buying and pick the best looking ones and breed up to a decent quality? The lady has some much better looking ones than these but I just can’t get a clear picture

From the pictures, I’d also say pet quality. Shaw is right, their color is grey pied/ penciled for some. Beautiful birds regardless.

Yep if you want calls then go for it. They are still beautiful birds. Do you want to show them, or just raise as pets?


It’s hard to tell from the photos. I can’t tell if they are SQ or not. They are beautiful birds regardless though.


Ultimately it is up to you. It depends what you want them for.
