Thoughts on breed?

Hey folks, wondering if anyone may have some insight on the breed(s) this little guy may be? Previous owner suspected a roo and couldn’t keep him but didn’t have much more information. He’s about 7-8 weeks old, legs are a grey-blue colour and has a little puff of feathers on his head.

Definite cockerel mixed breed.

Crest could come from leg bar. I'm not sure what other full sized breeds have crests. The leg color is interesting.

Looks like he has feathered legs too?Hard to tell in the photo. How many toes does he have? Looks most like a silkie mix to me.

He does have some leg feathering too. Three toes, one claw. Comparatively, he is also smaller than some similar aged hens in the group. My little flock has always been more traditional backyard breeds so I’m really interested in seeing how he turns out!

Seeing he has leg feathers and is smaller than your standards. The crest is probably from a smaller breed, possiblely Silkie.
