Thoughts on breeds?

I got a mixed flock about 18 weeks ago. These two are about 19 weeks old. Both have been laying for a week or two. Got them at Tractor Supply and I'm sure they're mutts. Any idea what kind of mutts they may be?

What color eggs? That might help.

They are mixed breeds.

They're probably one of the Leghorn based hybrids that have some marketing name, but I have no idea what gives that particular color, sorry. I'll bet they're fantastic layers, that's the whole idea behind those hybrids.

Both are about the same. Light brown. Theirs are at 4 o'clock. White leghorns at 1 and 10. RSL at 7.

Cool cool. Figured they were a mix of some sort. Was hoping for some cool name

I got two Black Stars (now I know BSLS), 2 ISA Browns (now I know RSLs), 2 white leghorns, and these two.

Oh, and yeah, they grew larger, faster, and are very good layers.

I had two mystery layer pullets this year that were probably Amberlinks or similar, but they weren't as prettily marked as your ladies. If they were, I'd probably have kept them, but I sold them to make more room in the coop
