Right now i have 2 groups of chickens inside in different containers. 7 in a 110gal trough between 6 to 8 weeks old. (2 black australorpes, 2 americana EE, 1 bsl, 1 buff orpington, and 1buff brahma roo) We also have a very large tote with 6 chicks 4 to 5 weeks old ( 3 jersey giant pullets and 3 light brahma straight run) and 2 indian runner ducks about 3 weeks old. We almost have our coop finished outside and am wondering if it might be better to take the younger group out first then add in the bigger chicks 1 at a time... thoughts??

I forgot to say... if you know a better/ easier/ less time consuming way please let me know!! :)

That's what i actually ended up doing not at night and to the run first. I put them all in there just to get them used to each other and there wasn't any mean pecking or chasing so i decided to leave them together. They are doing good. I think having about the same number of each group helped alot.
