My first go at incubating. Still air LG. Had 5 eggs, temp fluctuated around 97-101 holding 99.5 about 90 % of time. I was lax about the whole thing and kept a little water in but didnt measure humidity. 7 and 14 day candle showed veins and what looked to be embryos. Day 22 and 23 two buff orpingtons hatched (pips on day 21 and 22)

No pips in these remaining.

The first one is hard to see. I agree with Chickster on the second. The third looks well developed, but there is no way to tell from pics the viability of the egg.
It sounds as though the average incubation temp was a tad low during incubation. Congrats on the two hatchers.

Thanks. I was pretty sure at 2 weeks that 2nd one want going anywhere. It's pretty porous. The first one looks like a possible inner pip? gonna give em tomorrow them pop into them and see what happened. . Love my new babies though!

No. I went ahead and broke into them today. They were almost fully developed and had intact air cells

I know we had a temp spike but it was around 2 weeks. So not sure what happened.
