Tldr: quarantined rooster for over a month died with seizure or in death thralls had blood coming from mouth and all over the box he was in for the night
Silkie rooster had been isolated for over a month with his hen. Original diagnoses was vitamin deficiency. Gave vitamins,, began making improvements. Symptoms were weakness, wry neck, limping in roster. Hen was brought in for companionship.
Hen died suddenly a week and a half ago. Suspect egg bound because she was not showing any signs of distress or illness.
Ended up being in different bumble footed hen for companionship for rooster.
Both were doing better.
Tonight it got really cold, I brought rooster in from garage because it is very cold.
He was in a cardboard box with the lid mostly closed to keep heat in. It was either death thralls or a seizure that woke us up to him dying.
There was blood coming from his mouth and all over the box.
