Thoughts? Worth it?

Apparently they thought the necessary 2-3 nests for that size coop wasn’t enough... go big or go home lol
Can't quite tell where they are..the coop itself appears to only be 4x4', is it all nests in there?!
Get some interior pics once you get it home, and before you tear out all those uncessary nests

I will... I can’t understand how the footprint is what it is either...
and my only thought is the “nests” are tiny slots for them? I just can’t imagine someone having enough chickens in it to NEED 6 nests

I picked it up! (It’s heavy) and needs new hardware cloth as the chicken wire has come unattached in some places but overall it is very useful.

Not sure how the guy had 6 hens in it... the “coop” is very small!
I’ll take photos tomorrow... I didn’t get home until dark

View attachment 1757898 View attachment 1757899 I found this coop which my thought is it would work for growing out roosters...
(I am raising some for meat and I have straight runs)
Or maybe just a small flock in it... the guy will take $150 and the footprint is 4x8- I would attach additional run to it I think... I am scheduled to go pick it up Friday evening
What do you think? Keep in mind my main coop is 15x18 with an attached 15x30 run... and I have two 5x8 chicken tractors as well
I think it’s worth it, looks better than those cheap little prefab coop and run combos. Looks like it will last a long time.

It was!
Weather has been CRAP since I got it so it’s acruallt still on my flat bed. The inside is very small... most of the footprint is the run. But he even had electric (a light) and a cement block with a light inside to heat a waterer for winter- said just run an extension cord or plug in both lights. There’s plenty of ventilation.
Gotta fix the wire and a few minor tweaks. But I’m glad I picked it up

It’ll get fixed up with new wire etc this week

The inside of the coop is probably 2.5’ by 4’ (guessing on the 2 and change without my tape measure) and probably 2.5’ high.
The run goes under the coop as well because the whole thing is about 4’ high
