Three adult chickens with very loose green watery stool, getting bullied....

I'm not sure... I tend to treat pretty aggressively with wormer *and* powerful antibiotics at the same time and that usually clears them up, but I don't feel comfortable telling people to treat like that.

FWIW, if she were mine and i couldn't have a vet look at her, I would have wormed her five days at 0.5ml per 2.2 pounds, started on Baytrl at 0.2ml per 2.2 pounds and metronidazole at 50mg per 2.2 pounds.

Baytril will treat most E. Coli and metronidazole will treat clostridial infections and blackhead. Problem is, both of those drugs are banned for use in poultry, so that is something to think about.

Thought I should also say that I tube feed fluids, then fluids and food if they aren't eating or are losing weight. Remember that it's not usually diseases that kills them, it's dehydration and starvation. If you can get the supplies I can teach you, just read the tube feeding link in my sig.

My girl was on metronidazole for 5 days with no improvement, then I had her on duraymcin-10 for 4 days with no improvement...
Then I started the safeguard (because of her light weight, gave her pea size for 3 days), and is on day 4 of corid. Today I noticed that her poops were more formed, but I'm thinking that it was because of the bread. I tried giving her brown rice - she didn't take it.
She has been drinking.... she was drinking a lot more two weeks ago, but it was also warmer at the time.

She ate an entire pc. of rye bread today and all of her greens. I just put an egg that I scrambled up for her and she turned her beak to it.
Tomorrow I will spread the safeguard on a pc. of bread, but if she detects it... she will not eat it. I guess it doesn't taste good :(

Can I syringe the safeguard to her?

Thanks Kathy, you have been very helpful

I might have to eyeball the paste (.7ml) if I can't draw up.
I shore hope she pulls through this... I'm so spent worrying about her. It's like having another infant that's a picky eater.

This thread has a picture of pea size amounts of Safeguard. One medium and one large size amount = 0.75ml of paste.

Update:
I put my girl out in the coop this evening!
Her poops were looking much better, and she was acting more like herself.

I will watch her closely all day tomorrow - I'm hoping that they don't bully her too much for being out of the group for the past 3.5 weeks. She wasn't at the top of the pecking, but not at the bottom either.

Thank you everyone, and I will let you all know how this plays out

She is holding her own against the bullies ..... She dust bathed today, she ate grass off the ground, and had some stale bread and very little cracked corn, but otherwise did not eat as much as the others. She seems to be very guarded. I hope it doesn't take to long to have her back to herself.
