Three hens l Need Help

Hi, l have 2 buff sussex and one cooper black chicken.One of my buff sussex are about to harch an egg soon.Would the other to tend to hit the chick or accept it. These three chickens have been together for ever.

it would be best to separate the momma and her chicks from the other grown chickens. Sometimes other birds kill chicks. So I wouldn't keep them away from the flock until the chicks are not so small .
