So this time I purchased three 16 week old Easter Eggers. They are all supposed to be hens. Lets see if I did any better this time. Fingers crossed.

Please make my day

A better shot of that last one is needed. The first two lighter ones appear to be pullets, the darker one I'm unsure, it looks like a rooster, but the photo is too dark to be sure.

They have only been in the coop since Friday so very Leary of me yet. I was worried about the darker white one because of the different tail feathers. I will try and get a better picture of the darker one and will repost.

Thank you!

Well hopefully more experienced EE people will give their opinions. The tail feathers on that one are suspicious, but the comb colors are good for their age, at 16 weeks they should be red if they are roosters.

No red on any of them. I'm so hoping for girls. I have been rehoming quite a few roosters. This is our first experience with chickens and it's getting frustrating. I thought if I paid extra for hens we would actually get hens. Lol. Doesn't seem to quite work out that way.

I still love them all. Now I know what chicken tv is. I can sit out for hours just watching them. They all come running when I come out because they know I have some fresh treats.

I am now an official crazy chicken lady

I got lots of roos the first time I got chickens too. I guess they're hard to sex?

Join the club! We're all crazy chicken owners!

So here are some more pics but still are not very good. This poor chicken is soooo timid. Let me know if you need better pics and I can try again.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Ugh, I had a feeling. Bought older because I was told all hens. Just not doing good with not getting roosters.

Maybe he will take him back.

Thanks!
