What @sfgwife was referring to is that you need more than one hen for your new breeding tom. Turkeys don't do well as pairs. I try to keep at least 4 to 5 hens for one tom. Since I have a small flock, I also don't keep multiple toms during breeding season. If keeping multiple toms, keep them in separate areas where they can't see each other during breeding season. If they are only separated by a fence they can see through, they will spend the time fighting through the fence.
