Three Wyandot Chickens at the water faucet

I was out on Christmas Day with the camera and caught a moment. I thought the scene was cute so I thought I'd share.

These are our only Wyandots. We bought them thinking they were going to be mostly black with silver tips, but so far so white. Do they turn darker as they mature? These right now are about 16-17 weeks. I'm pretty sure it's one rooster and two hens.

They are cuties! But I don't think they are Wyandottes, I think they are Brahmas. Maybe someone else can say for sure.

hmmmm... I wondered. When I bought them the lady said they were silver laced Wyandottes. I recently sent pics to her asking if this is what they were supposed to look like. ... no reply yet. I'm not bashing my chicken source, don't get me wrong. She is super nice and I will continue to buy from her. I just suspect that there may have been a mistake in this case.
