Hello, I'm stopping my project Wheaten Crele Orpingtons.

I've decided to go a new route since I have a sort of Throw Back body type from possible Oriental ancestry from long ago, back in some point in history.

The project is still gonna consist of the original birds, but will include Game, or Game mix blood.

I have 2 Cracker Fowl hens

The traits I want for the breed is: Good foragers, Flock Protectors, Heavy Weights, decent table bird, LargeFowl, Sporty Body build, Barred Pattern, Any color, Walnut Comb, Bearded, & Unbearded, brown, or pastel green eggs.

I may use every bird listed at least 1-2 generations. This is gonna be a heavy cull project. Every unwanted bird will be used as food, or given to a new home, will not be wasted.

No, overly aggressive cockerels/roosters will be tolerated if produced, those will be culled, & not used.

Naming the new breed will be tricky. But will figure something out.

Technically this project is to develop my own strain of free range Gamefowl, using only birds with Gamefowl ancestry.

The other birds are to just enhance body type, & foraging behavior.

Skin color, white is the goal, but yellow skin maybe acceptable too, but not 100% sure I want it.

Brown legs is something I seem to like though, & is unique. Maybe I'll try for that.

What genes make Brown legs? Or is it another variation of Yellow X Slate?
