I recently emailed Droll Yankee to ask about getting a bird feeder repaired that had been damaged by squirrels. I was thinking it was going to be a hassle to get the feeder fixed although the company does state in it's guarantee that they will repair squirrel damage. In the email, I explained the damage and exactly which feed I had. The very next day I received a reply from a real person asking for my address and phone number. I less then one week I opened my mailbox to find a replacement tube for my feeder, along with the instructions on how to replace it. I am impressed with their customer service and just wanted to pass my experience on to my fellow BYCers.
You can probably tell that I am not used to good customer service.
