I'm scared that our chickens will be hurt after a thunder storm that is happening now

and are they going to be ok the wind so kinda strong and there sleeping in the roost now

They look pretty well feathered out from what I can see. They should be fine this once, but my biggest concern would be them getting way too wet. I would suggest that before the next storm hits, you try to do something to keep rain off them, especially when there's wind involved. They really need a totally closed in space for their comfort and their safety. Do you have plans for a regular coop, or is this going to be their home? It's too small to house them properly and I don't see much for weather and predator protection.

x2 on @Blooie 's comments.

Our birds are a funny bunch...some will stand out in the middle of a downpour and others head straight for the coop or covered run when it sprinkles. But they have options and it's up to them which they choose if the weather turns during the day (at night they are all locked in the coop).

Here in PR we haven't had rain in a pretty long time . Well last night a baby chick was born. My hen is a little mean and wouldn't let me see but it's a good feeling. I hope your chickens are ok with the bad weather.

@Pretty Chickens congratulations on the new chick!

Don't worry we're making a new winter coop for them and they never get wet
