Guineas are best for eating ticks.Brutal! Poor thing. I forgot ticks actually DObite chickens. We have tons of ticks and regularly pull them off the dog. I read that chickens are a great way to decrease the tick poulation in your yard (because they eat tgem). Not true?
Thank you for the update, I am glad things are back to normal for you.Hey guys! I know its been awhile but I just wanted to post back! I forgot about this , but I wanted to just inform everyone that about two weeks after the tick incident, my chicken was completely fine. No signs of any kind of sickness whatsoever, and her face and comb gobble, are totally normal colored. Anyone else who has the same problem as I did, chances are your chicken will be fine.
