If you are like me you have saved every little scrap from every quilt or sewing project you have ever worked on, absolutely sure you would find a use for them. I have accumulated a rubbermaid tub plus 2 bags full and still had no clue what to do with them, as I knew working with all of those teeny tiny bits would drive me nuts if I were to try and piece them.
I found this really cool blog about a Ticker Tape quilt that uses all of those little scraps and quilts itself as you go. This is a link to see what it looks like and her super simple tutorial:

I am already planning mine! I am thinking that I may use squares, triangles and circles as well as rectangles. The end result will be a quilt full of memories from all of those other projects and the satisfaction of knowing that you made a beautiful keepsake out of "trash!"
