It's not being banned in UK but my favourite tiktokers are from America so I'm sad

I do not support the ban because that's lots of people's jobs...but I also don't have tiktok

I see both sides. I use it, mostly chicken content, a viral video of a chicken shaking off after a dirt bath lol but even at that I do see both sides. What bothers me about TikTok is the influence it has over young people and society in general. The same can be said for other platforms, too, though. TikTok just seems to have caught the most flack because of its popularity, imo. I think it would be (and is) very easy to spread information on that app, with that it’s alarmingly easy to influence and manipulate people via the app. Personally I think it will be nice if a lot of people unplugged and lived in the real world for a while, I’m not sure I support a ban, though.

Personally I think it will be nice if a lot of people unplugged and lived in the real world for a while, I’m not sure I support a ban, though.

I think it should stay, but privacy should be inforced more and there should be AI (or something) watching videos before you post and make sure they are appropriate.

I don’t really care. Most people who have large TikTok accounts are on multiple other platforms and most of their fans are going to move over to YouTube shorts, reels, etc if it does get banned. I don’t like TikTok but i don’t necessarily want it banned. If it gets banned oh well and if it doesn’t oh well.
